This is an original design I wrote in 2023 for Jen Kwong while in the Catskills. She requested geese and greens and I decided to incorporate purple flowers (inspired by azure bluets — Houstonia caerulea, also “Quaker Ladies,” which I saw on a hike) into the the minor band and into some of the garden around the geese. This is a variation on a number of designs I’ve developed with geese: 40 Days of Pysanky 26: Verdant Geese II, Golden Geese, The Egg that Lays with Golden Geese, Pair of Geese (Duck Egg).
